Century Box can be used by the teacher as a teaching aid and by pupils as a way to both investigate
numbers and to reinforce concepts.
It is ideal for use with an Interactive Whiteboard, but can be used by individuals or groups to
explore number relationships.
Number grids can be altered at any time, but teachers can define all aspects of the number grid and save as a Configuration for a quick start.
Its three painting modes – used to show relationshhips and patterns – give you the option of:

manually highlighting numbers with up to four colours |

automatically highlighting multiples of number 2 to 10 |
• |
selectively highlighting multiples in individual rows. |
And you can hide/reveal any number by right-clicking.
Its flexibility means that grids can be displayed in any size/combination from 1 by 1 up to 16 by
16, including variations such as 2 by 10, 5 by 5, or even 7 by 13 and so on. It can be used to
show:

positive and negative numbers |

decimals to three places. |

very big numbers. |
An optional popup panel gives teachers instant control over the display, but any number of grids can be prepared and saved for instant use.
Black and white number grids of any size/combination can be printed out for pupils to use as answer sheets
or to record what they have discovered on screen.
