FrameWorks: German offers two types of help for writers: Picture Prompt frameworks and
Writing Prompt frameworks.
Both can be edited and new frameworks can be created. New Writing frameworks can be made in
a matter of minutes. New Picture Prompt frameworks will take a little longer and depend on the
creator having suitable pictures available.
The title screen displays the frameworks which are currently available for pupils to use, together
with a short cut to the user's work directory.
The Picture Prompt frameworks are easily distinguishable from the Writing Prompt frameworks.
The pupil double-clicks on the framework he or she wants in order to begin work.
A lightweight version of AccentPad is also launched with FrameWorks: German. This can be used
to quickly enter accented characters instead of learning ALT keypad combinations. AccentPad can
be closed by right-clicking on the icon found in the tray.
