Just look at these moles - nothing but trouble. How is the young computer user going to get rid of them?
Fortunately, there are a number of means:
You can just roll the mouse over them as they pop up through the grass. |
When you get good at that, try a simple single click. |
Then the hard part: double-clicking (slowed down to match your skill level until you can work with the standard double-click speed). |

Then move on to more advanced skill: roll over to pick them up and drop them gently into a deck chair to give them a rest. |
Click-drag-drop is quite a difficult skill for younger users – it's so easy to let go of the mouse button for a moment. There's plenty of practice here at holding on the those little moles while you keep the grass clear. |

We might not appreciate the moles, but the worm likes them even less. It's the biggest challenge in the game: work against the clock to get rid of the moles so the worm can make it back safely to his hole. Too slow and the moles make short work of the hapless worm.

The standard six configurations (see Contact us/Help > Configuring RESOURCE software) are built in to the program: as all the Configurations can be adjusted to cover these mouse skills, there are a number of ways of setting the software to meet the needs of different abilities.
This is a Talk·2·Talk program (clicker here for more details), so other languages can be added. There's nothing more satisfying than to complete counting the moles in English and Polish (for example) and to be told both Doskonale! and Well done! (Or Da iawn! or Utmärkt! or Bien hecho! or Bravo ! or Well done! in any of the other languages that can be added to Moles.)
